Posting Expensive but Beyond me items frustrates me.
Nevertheless, I continue to drool at one of my "wish" list toys.

Leica's special edition is a collaboration with Luxury Designer Hermes comes in its signature Orange including the strap.
The only draw back which is also its main unique function - is that it uses M7 film format. Hard to get here in Singapore but would definitely produce the grainy effect that we oooh sooo love!

I am definitely ONE that does a little dance on Fridays ..
and moan and groan to work on Mondays...

What can be better than some colours "perk me up" stairs..?
some exercise to burn those extra alcoholic calories and tone those bums!

Apparently there are stairs from Wuppertal which are painted in acrylic.
and each colour represent a different emotion!

Great for my Monday walk / crawl to work!

We heart Amy Atlas's website and her blog.
How can anyone resist having a visually stunning party tailored carefully according to
your needs complete with delectable desserts?
Wouldnt it be great if I can afford an event planner like her?
Even if that is not possible in the near future,
that is no excuse to stop partying or have a party.

Halloween is around the corner!
Another reason to drink!
Plus... nobody will shriek in fright when me and my frens paint the town red!

Deafening Silence

Silence can be deafening & I hope we are missed..
As for the hiatus, you can say its intentional..
or perhaps its unintentionally intented..

There comes a time in our lives, where more important issues take precendence
and require more attention.

My disappearance was initially due to work load.
Then I took a break from blogsphere, I wondered,
what is the purpose and objective of STDgals..

It came to a point - are we blogging for the sake of daily postings?
Is this our voice? or are we simply regurgitating from other sources?
Can we not be affected if we are not getting enough "hits"?

There were moments where I wanted to post,
but refrained myself from doing so.

I wanted to clear my head, I wanted to blog.
I wanted to stop blogging.
I wanted to share.
I wanted privacy.

I want to know where we are heading...

How can STDgals be different from our personal blogs
yet without diluting the contents?

Thinking thoughts and thoughtful moments.
I dont have an answer as yet but I guess
I will continue to seek and perhaps speak my mind.

Does that mean that people are not shopping?
I think not because more affordable brands like Uniqlo
has reported has reported double digits growth
in revenue and profits.

I guess... the bleak economic will not deter us from shopping.

We will hunt and scour for best buys!

I bought this babydoll blouse with ruffles for 100Bht and the necklace for another 100Bht.
It cost less than S$10 for both items!

As I promised - in my previous post...
to share what I have bought from the fabulous Bangkok Night Market...

Here it is ... the top cost S$7 and it fits so well not to mentioned
so looks fab on me. ( at least I think so!)
Ballet pumps from Dubai at about S$8 from a year ago.
Comfortable, durable & very versatile....

Look at the aquarium behind me!
Huge is not a word to describe it.
Its about 3 / 4 storeys high and look at the stars above me.
This is in a shopping centre - Dubai Mall.

Its apparently only 30% open but I can't even finish walking..

I dont think my pictures do any justice to how huge the aquarium actually is..
but if you look closely at the scuba diver inside the tank feeding the fishes,
it will give an idea....

but thank goodness for my 2 other std gals..

juz a little update!

isnt the background beautiful?
doesnt it looks unreal?
the air was a crispy green
and the sky was a soothing blue.
but the sun, was burning my skin.

a break from work & we decided to have some fun!
LoL.... the terrible trio.

actually, the location is the only breathtaking sight
anything else apart from that..
is long tiring hours at work.

Miss Angelina Jolie used to frighten us with her Black wardrobe overload in her wilder days (before she got on with Pitt). But the onslaught of nude peep toes, and light pastel flowing gowns red-carpet-after-red-carpet just got us yawning away from all that maternal instincts that was gaining on her. Maybe she wanted to change her image and get more people to take her seriously. Well after all, she is leaving Hollywood and heading to Washington D.C.

But check these photos out when Miss Jolie decided to slip on a leather piece from Michael Kors for Brad Pitt's Inglorious Basterds Premiere.

Did we see strappy pumps and tight leather altogether?

They say Black is boring. But sometimes, all we need is less clutter, and cleaner lines to clear our heads. We think Burberry Black Label appeals to the Japanese, who favors classy, structured and elegant wear for work.

The British label is certainly returning with a fresh injection of young models. We think their marketing direction might finally work for them after all.
